外来種ヤエヤママドボタルの防除に向けた研究開発その5：第70回日本応用動物昆虫学会大会にて成果発表しました / Research and development for the control of Pyrocoelia atripennis, Part 5: Presentation of the Achievement at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Jap

Ryukyu Nature Positive（琉球ネイチャーポジティブ）では、国内外来種ヤエヤママドボタル Pyrocoelia atripennis の防除技術について、引き続き独自の研究開発を継続しています。

このたび、実用新案登録を受けた技術の概要を研究者の皆さんに紹介するため、日本応用動物昆虫学会第70回熊本大会において口頭発表しました。

プレゼンテーションのタイトルは、沖縄島における国内外来ホタル「ヤエヤママドボタル Pyrocoelia atripennis」の選択的防除手法開発

応用動物昆虫学会への参加は今回が初めてでしたが、本課題解決に取り組む研究者の皆さんとの意見交換ができたり、アリ類研究者との交流ができたりと、とても良い機会となりました。

本学会への参加と開発成果の発表は、2025年度に取り組んできたヤエヤママドボタル防除に関する研究開発の、ひとつの区切りとなるものです。

The Ryukyu Nature Positive has been continuing our proprietary research and development on control technologies for the domestic invasive firefly Pyrocoelia atripennis.

I gave an oral presentation at the 70th Conference of the Japanese Society of Applied Entomology and Zoology, which took place in Kumamoto Prefecture, to introduce the overview of this technology—which has recently been granted a utility model registration—to fellow researchers.

Although this was my first time participating in the annual conference of the Japanese Society of Applied Entomology and Zoology, it became an excellent opportunity for me to share and discuss ideas with researchers working on this issue, and to enjoy myself with other myrmecological researchers.

Participating in this conference and presenting my progress of the research and development marks a significant milestone in the research and development for the control of this invasive firefly undertaken throughout fiscal year 2025.

今回の学会会場は熊本城ホール。SAKURAMACHI Kumamotoに併設されたきれいなホールでした。

ちょうどサクラがきれいな時期で、得した気分。
